I have lived in Boston for more than 30 years, coming here right after college.  My first few years here, I read the New York Times, having grown up on that paper.  But I slowly converted over to the Boston Globe and have been reading it every morning for the past few decades.  I always read the letters and the comics, in addition to the front page and as much news as I can squeeze in before work. Since I was a kid, I loved the comics, and don’t feel that starting one’s day without them is a particularly good idea.

I was a paperboy, my grandfather was a drama critic for the Herald Tribune and my uncle was editor there, so the news is in my blood.
